Our programs include BMW, MINI, Body and Paint, and Motorrad (motorcycle) specialties where students attend outstanding workshop-based, hands-on training to learn some of the most innovative automotive technology that exists today. We strive to help all serious, motivated students reach their full potential. Since its inception in 1996, the STEP program has produced over 3,000 graduates, most of which are still working at dealerships today. BMW STEP students are in high demand at BMW dealer locations across the USA. For those students who accept a job with a BMW Dealer upon graduation, BMW will pay for your BMW STEP training. Students are required to work one year at the BMW Dealer location, although many stay with BMW throughout their careers.

Qualifications to enter the BMW STEP program include:

• Valid driver?s license acceptable to BMW standards
• Completion of a post-secondary automotive program
• A minimum 3.0 GPA at a post-secondary school
• 95% attendance rate or better at a post-secondary school
• Willingness and ability to accept a position at a BMW Dealership
• Ability to support oneself during the training program process
• Willingness to relocate if necessary
• Drug screening
• Background check
